Conversational Piece
William Gerrard wrote this after hearing Syd had passed away:

I love you, and when they called out your name
I thought they'd say that you'd done something great
And you should've seen me shocked and surprised
....when they told me you died

Don't know what face to be wearing today
As I take a stroll, the clear road's a maze
And though they say that I never knew you
I hope we'll both agree that that's not true

Am I dreaming?
For my mind's in the clouds
With a man on an eiderdown
I can hardly sleep as it is

Here resting among the trees and the grass
Still hoping that your soul's found the right path
I'll still recall you as we pass through time
Until next time my friend...

                            goodbye
