Hi, I have recently purchased a uk copy of pulse 2xcd c/w book and card insert in "led" blinking box, I have just played the cds and disc 1 plays correct tracks as listed, but when I played disc 2 it plays the same tracks as disc 1 !!! it is fully printed as disc 2 is this rare ?? is it valuable ?? any help would be appreciated I can be emailed on boldeick99@_nospam_yahoo.com or re post on here many thanks Chris

When I was a freshman in High School band, we raised enough money for our band to go to Florida. We were to do some concerts, swim in the ocean, and go to the newly-opened DisneyWorld in Orlando. The year was 1972. Our band from Lebanon, Missouri got on the buses complete with instruments and headed to Daytona Beach, FL. We stayed at the Howard Johnson's there that had a pool up on the 2nd floor. After swimming in the ocean, we would sometimes head up in the elevator to hang out at the pool where there was a volleyball net set up. We played pool volleyball with some guys that had funny (to us) accents. I remember after one fairly spirited game, a bunch of us rode the elevator down with them. Someone in our group said "We are all in a band, how about you guys?". To our surprise, they said they were in a band too. I will never forget them telling us that the name of their group was "Pink Floyd". After they exited the elevator, we nearly died laughing and one of the boys said- "Pink Floyd, sounds like something you would name a pink pig!". Can you imagine how we felt when "Dark Side of the Moon" came out and we listened to it? I wish I had known to remember more about them at the time, all I could really remember was their long hair and they were just OK at volleyball. Ha. Wish now that I knew who we were speaking too....

OK. I have to share. I am a very big fan. Recently I came across a 1980/82 biography of the band by Miles. It covers 1965 up through the WALL. My husband, a fan too, looked through it and loved it. So i put it up on eBay here's the number 160987099988. It of course has info on Syd. Condition is good. The format includes all concert dates and music biography. DSOTM is my husband and my most favorite ever album. I had such a huge crush on David Gilmour, now he's old like me :)

Hi to all.

Being a big Pink Floyd fan I couldn't believe my luck when I acquired the one and only Nick Mason's Mercedes AMG. It has been owned from new by Mr Mason and came direct from him. Driving the car is an experience as it feels surreal knowing who has driven it and used it and I have even filled the CD changer up with Pink Floyd albums to make the most of the experience! Unfortunately I am a fully registered car dealer and much as I'd like to keep the car, needs must and it has to be sold - therefore I will be advertising the car on many forums in the next few weeks and thought I should share it with you all in the best possible place, just incase it might be of any interest to someone on here.

Unfortunately, I must tell you that Germany is not a nice place for Pink Floyd fans. Here the citizens are suing with terror sums not only for setting bootlegs on internet platforms. We have just received a complaint about the equivalent of more than $ 1.800 for setting the Dark Side Of The Moon sandstone pyramid on Ebay, because we used the name of Pink Floyd in the item description, and thus violated the trademark...
You might not imagine, because you live in free countries, but that just Pink Floyd in Germany brings so much misery to the fans of the band , makes me very sad.
I don´t know if the bandmembers know about the warlike proceeding of the record company, but they should before friends become enemies...

Went to the (Lazer Show) 40th anniversery of the Dark Side of the Moon release - 25 yrs of doing this show at the Majestic in San Antonio last night. To borrow a line from the movie Caddy Shack it was "top notch top notch"! The bliss I felt, the connection and clairty was a most powerful spiritual experience. I highly recommend this show; no its more like an "event". If you are my age (58) and somehow missed out in this when we were 16 yrs old then now is the time to go catch up on lost time. Even if you are only 16, listen to the lead g and you will hear the best ever, outside of Texas (SRV). I will say this, the weed is better now than it used to be. Just the 2nd hand smoke in the balcony was enough to, well it added to our experience. If you are going to the show, brush up on their 2nd album Mettle. It was a great way to end a great gig. my uncle rocky passed away 2 years ago this year and he loved pink floyd , they were and always will be one of his most favorite bands .
i never used to understand why he loved them ? but after he died i got to listen to them more and now i understand why he loved this band so much , they were one of the most influenced bands of all time .
and at his funeral they played all his floyd cds and he himself was buried in a floyd shirt and we all wore a shirt with them on it in his honor . everytime i hear floyd any floyd song i tell him thank you because i know its him letting me know that hes still watching over me from the darkside of the moon because '' there is no darkside of the moon really ? matter of fact . its all dark ''
and another thing was that i listened to their song time and i fell in love with it i thought it was so cool and original . so i got more interested in it and now im a full-fleged floyd head as he would say .
ive even made myself shirts and i have many floyd things as well and i know that he would love it that im so in them now :) all because of him and my uncles .
so this is my tribute to my uncle and all those floyd heads out there ! rock on and remember we just all two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl and all in all its just a another brick in the wall :)
